Third Form Fall Winter

HELD

There is a moment before release —

when tension is still present, when softness has weight, when nothing has yet been given away.

HELD exists in that moment.

This collection is an exploration of restraint: of intimacy shaped through control rather than exposure. It considers what happens when softness is gathered, drawn inward, and contained — when volume is created not for excess, but to be held close to the body.

Femininity here is not expressive or performative. It is quiet, deliberate, and self-possessed. The body is traced rather than exaggerated. Skin is suggested through proximity, layering, and tension — never revealed all at once. Each silhouette holds itself together, resolved and composed.

The work resists spectacle. Instead, it returns repeatedly to the same gestures — pulling, gathering, cinching — refining them across the collection. This repetition creates discipline, allowing intimacy to emerge through precision rather than decoration.

Fabrication reinforces this sense of control. Satin collapses when drawn inward, its shine softened by tension. Jersey clings and shifts through gathering and side seams, responding directly to the body’s movement. Lace is used architecturally — as trim, paneling, and framing — bringing structure to traditionally delicate materials. Sheer layers and subtle surface embellishments add depth without overt shine, activated through movement rather than display.

Across dresses, slips, bralets, skirts, and draped jersey pieces, volume is never free-floating. It is accumulated, shaped, and resolved — held at the bust, waist, hip, or seam. Even the most fluid forms are anchored somewhere, maintaining a sense of containment throughout the range.
